Our most celebrated and popular ride to Beaver Lake is an extraordinary way to experience the Colorado Rockies on your vacation in the Vail Valley. You'll need a full day to experience the magnificence of Beaver Creek's amazing and incomparable views, and it's all worth it. You'll follow Beaver Creek all the way to Beaver Lake, into the White River Holy Cross National Forest Wilderness area.  This ride will take one and a half hours to get to Beaver Lake and after enjoying the scenery you will have a one hour ride back to the stables. Relax, enjoy and savor this historic horseback riding experience with Beaver Creek Stables that is unrivaled anywhere. Reservations required 24 hours in advance. Please note that this ride is very limited as we are only allowed to guide 165 riders per season into this exclusive wilderness area. 

This ride is the perfect mix, enjoy a one hour horseback ride up the Beaver Creek Mountain to the meadow where you will enjoy your deli lunch then back on your horse for a one hour ride back down the mountain. 
 

Our two hour horseback ride on Beaver Creek Mountain brings you full circle to the top of the eastern hillside of Beaver Creek and back. At the top of the ridge, riders enjoy breathtaking views of the Gore Range, Vail Mountain's back bowls, and Beaver Creek Resort. You'll experience one of the most untouched natural environments in Colorado on your vacation.
